This blog was created for my course, Web 2.0: Connecting with the Community Using Social Software, through Infopeople Online Learning.  I am really excited about this course and hope to learn new ways of reaching out to the surrounding community in the virtual world.  I have been working in the library field for 6 years now, but prior to my job in the public library field, I was removed from the advances in technology in the library.  In my current position, it is my responsibility to bring technology to the patrons and staff of the library.  I want to make our library an authentic “brick and click” library.
