@LeeAnn Thank you. I’m happy to know that you are finding my postings helpful. There are some really wonderful resources out there, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to go through them all. 🙂

Dani, I happened on your site(s) by chance, looking for pictures for a research project I’m doing. I’m a furniture restorer in NJ. Anyway, I just felt compelled to leave feedback, as I was totally sucked into your world for an hour. The ease with which you portray your interests and passions, done so unpretentiously, brightened an otherwise dull morning. Thank you.
By the way, my father was an archivist. Warmest regards. M-

@Mark Thank you. I’m happy that you stumbled across my site(s). I try not to take things too seriously (I’m not curing cancer just helping to inform the one who someday will). 🙂 I love what I do and I enjoy the people I work with and it doesn’t hurt that every day is just a little bit different than the day before. And, by the way, archivists rawk! Therefore you rawk by proxy. Thank you.

Dani, thx for your reply. I guess I’m a full fan now, as I tuned in to see your picture updates today. Do I have to pay dues at all?? Hmm, guess I’ll have to share recent music/book finds with you now too, since I feel a need to give back! Will forward tomorrow after I check proper spellings. You’ll like them: a group out of Ivory Coast and a bi-racial author from Boston. Is there an anti-Dani shot I should be looking for?!
Your groupie, Mark.

Dani, hi! I just happened to stumble across your Flickr pics, specifically the latest one with your new hair cut! AWESOME, very nice! I just cut mine very similar to yours and I love it! Just wanted to give you and your new cut some luv. God Bless!

@Dhiadra Hi. Yep, I tend to get a little scissor and dye happy – I think I’ve had 8 different hair colors in the last year and 4 different hair cuts. One of the best parts of being a girl. 🙂 Enjoy your new ‘do. And God bless you too!

@Mark Thank you for the book recommendation. I will take a look when I get some down time.

Hi Dani. I have not checked on you for over a year! How culd I?! But, I see you are doing well, and just as amazing as ever. So glad to hear of your new job! Congrats. I just sent my son off to college this past Sept. Can’t believe it….where’d time go? He’s at Lycoming, not far from your new gig. I’d love to hear back from you. Mark from NJ

Hi Mark! Isn’t it crazy how fast they grow up? But isn’t that the *real* American dream ~ getting the kids out of the house? LOL I don’t update this blog very often (bad librarian) but I don’t have the heart to totally delete either (this is my first blog baby). I’m blogging at http://livingoutsidethestacks.com now. Take care and it was nice hearing from you.
